Discover how to confidently & effectively advocate for your child so that they can have a more positive school experience & you can feel good about your child’s education again.
As an undiagnosed neurodivergent child, I struggled in school. This personal experience, combined with my professional journey as a special educator and parent, fuels my passion for helping every child succeed. I founded EducationWorks with the belief that with the right support, every student can thrive.
My background includes roles as both a special education teacher and an intervention coordinator in the public education system. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education from Towson University and have extensive experience working with students with behavioral difficulties, ADHD, and Autism.
As an educational consultant and advocate, I find joy in supporting students and families through their educational journey. My approach emphasizes teamwork, communication, and collaboration, ensuring that families feel supported every step of the way. Whether working online or in-person, I'm committed to finding individualized solutions that help students reach their full potential.
As a Special Education teacher for 15 years, I've dedicated my career to supporting students with diverse needs. My passion lies in identifying strategies that promote student success and growth. Later, as an administrator, I took pride in ensuring caregivers left meetings feeling heard and with a clearer understanding of their child's needs and educational plan.
I understand the challenges you face in securing the right educational support and services for your child's bright future. Working with me allows you to share the advocacy burden. As your advocate, I'll provide the answers and guidance you've been seeking, leveraging my extensive experience in both teaching and administration to support your family's educational journey.
As the founder of Behind Behaviors Educational Consulting, I bring a wealth of experience to the table. My journey in special education has taken me through elementary, middle, and high school levels in both public and nonpublic settings. With a master's in Special Education specializing in Severe & Profound Disabilities and a certificate in Behavior Analysis, I've developed expertise in working with students with emotional, behavioral, cognitive, and learning disabilities.
My role as a school-based behavior interventionist has given me invaluable insights into the challenges students face and the strategies that can help them succeed. I'm committed to using this knowledge to support families in navigating the special education system and ensuring each child receives the individualized support they need to thrive.
