About Me
As an undiagnosed, neurodivergent child, I struggled in school. As a special educator, I realized how my educational experience could have been different with the right supports. As a parent, I know how it feels to see your child struggling and not know how to help.
I started EducationWorks because I truly believe that every child should have the opportunity to succeed. Throughout my time in the public education system, I worked both as a special education teacher and as an intervention coordinator. In both of those positions, I found my passion in finding individualized solutions for students. As an educational consultant and advocate, I find joy and purpose in supporting students and families through this journey. I believe that the best approach to student success is through teamwork, communication, collaboration, and an unwavering commitment to ensuring that families feel supported.
I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special education from Towson University in 2017. Since then, I have worked as both an online educator and in-person within the public school system. I have an extensive background working with students with behavioral difficulties, as well as training and experience specific to ADHD and Autism.

While your child's school should provide access to resources and supports, we know that doesn't always happen. We also know how hard it can be to advocate for your child, especially when it seems like it's you against the team. We believe that as a parent, you should play one of the most important roles on your child's educational team and we're here to make sure that your concerns are heard and that your child receives the support they need.
