Educational Consulting

At EducationWorks, our services are as unique as each family we work with. During an initial consultation, we will discuss your child's current progress and address areas of concern. We provide a range of educational consulting and advocacy services to ensure that your child receives the support they need - and so that you feel heard as their parent.

Consulting

Sometimes when students are struggling in school, it can be difficult to determine the best way to help them. As a parent, I know how difficult it can be to watch your child struggle without an action plan to help them. Through our consulting services, we work together to identify your child's specific needs and develop a plan just for them.  We can also review current plans such as 504s, IEPs, or multi-tiered supports and provide recommendations based on your child's needs.

Advocacy

Every child deserves access to a Free & Appropriate Public Education (FAPE). While most teachers and schools are well intentioned, students can sometimes slip through the cracks - leading to significant learning gaps. If you're having trouble navigating your child's educational journey, our advocacy services can join your child's educational team to represent your family during IEP, 504, or other meetings. Advocacy is a great option to ensure that your voice is heard, that your child's needs are met, and that the school is held accountable for providing your child with the support they need.

Our consulting services help to identify your child's unique strengths and needs and find solutions to support them. An educational consultant can analyze your child's educational data and create an action plan to help them improve. This is a great option if your child is beginning to struggle in school and you'd like some strategies for how to best help them.

Although most teachers and schools are well intentioned, it can be easy for students to slip through the cracks. Did you know this leaves the school district liable for a violation under Child Find? Schools are obligated to intervene when they see students struggling but sometimes fail. to do so. Our advocacy services can work with your family and the school to ensure your voice is being heard and that your child's needs are being met. We offer a range of services from conducting record reviews and offering recommendations to attending meetings and communicating with the school on your behalf. This is a great option for parents whose children have been struggling for a while and/or are experiencing difficulty in trying to communicate with the school.
